There are plenty of examples of shallow closets in older homes/apartments that were once workers' quarters. I lived in a triple-decker in Somerville, MA that had a bedroom closet that was only deep enough for hooks on the back wall to hold the limited clothing of the occupants. The only way I could use a rod for hangers was to remove the closet door.
And here I thought I was the only one wielding a seam-ripper to this end. However, my patch for covering embroidered logos advertises Weyland-Yutani. I figure if you're going to shill for a company, it might as well be The Company.
Also, for excellent quality, US-made clothes with unobtrusive and easily-removed logos, you can't go wrong with https://www.american-giant.com/ .
There's a tasty jackfruit carnitas recipe in the cookbook, "La Vida Verde". You may need to work on an improved method to make them crispy...perhaps adding a final step of putting the skillet under a broiler.
I run into the same problem in Chrome, using Privacy Badger. However, the Mercury Reader extension does a great job reformatting the page for readability.
